Satellite-Based Toll Collection System :
Union Minister Nitin Gadkari said during a program on April 14, 2025 that physical toll booths will soon be removed from across the country. Along with this, he also gave information about the new toll policy. Gadkari said, “I will not say much about this right now, but I can definitely say that in the next 15 days the Government of India is going to implement a new toll policy.”
కేంద్ర మంత్రి నితిన్ గడ్కరీ ఏప్రిల్ 14, 2025న జరిగిన ఒక కార్యక్రమంలో మాట్లాడుతూ, దేశవ్యాప్తంగా ఉన్న భౌతిక టోల్ బూత్‌లను త్వరలో తొలగిస్తామని అన్నారు. దీనితో పాటు, కొత్త టోల్ విధానం గురించి కూడా ఆయన సమాచారం ఇచ్చారు. గడ్కరీ మాట్లాడుతూ, "దీని గురించి నేను ఇప్పుడు పెద్దగా చెప్పను, కానీ రాబోయే 15 రోజుల్లో భారత ప్రభుత్వం కొత్త టోల్ విధానాన్ని అమలు చేయబోతోందని నేను ఖచ్చితంగా చెప్పగలను" అని అన్నారు.
